Automatic Nutrition Facts Calculation
The ingredient statements for your products may be calculated automatically from
ingredient and recipe information in ProductVision, or entered directly by the user.
Entry of Special Label Descriptions
and Groupings
NL allows you to
enter a special nutrition label description for your ingredients if you prefer not to use
the standard description. You can print "sugar" on your product label, even if
you internally use "refined white sugar" as the description for this ingredient.
You also have the capability to show an ingredient mixture or intermediate recipe
parenthetically for nutrition label printing. For example, when Milk Chocolate appears in
a product, you have the option to print "Milk Chocolate (milk, sugar, cocoa butter,
eggs...)" on the label.
The Resource Grouping feature
allows you to combine multiple ingredients under a single name, either
showing or not showing the individual ingredient names. That is,
you can combine Canola Oil, Coconut Oil, and Corn Oil in a product to
show either:
"Vegetable Oils", or
"Vegetable Oils (Canola
Oil, Coconut Oils, and Corn Oil)"
This choice is made when
setting up the grouping in ProductVision.
