Advanced Software Designs (ASD) was founded in 1985 to provide software solutions for the formula-based, process industries. ASD’s first customer, Carboline Company, needed a solution to automate the creation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and product labels. This was quite a challenge at a time when the average PC had a fraction of the processing power and storage of today’s smartphones.
Over the years, the original software has gone through numerous revisions to keep pace with evolving regulations and customer requirements. ASD still provides formula management and regulatory compliance software, along with critical product development features such as workflow capabilities, testing, samples, and audit tracking. Since its founding, ASD has gained experience at over 500 process manufacturing companies. Our broad experience is reflected in the design and features of ProductVision. For over 35 years, our focus has remained the same – to create the finest product development software available for process manufacturers. And Carboline (now a division of RPM) is still a customer, utilizing our latest ProductVision product development software.
ASD has the stability that comes from being privately held, with zero debt. As ASD has grown it has allowed us to attract – and retain – some of the best talent in the industry. Our worldwide, world-class clients have selected ASD to provide their software solution (and several have partnered with us for over 30 years) because of the technical strength of our products and because they know who will be supporting their software one, three, or ten years down the road – and beyond. ProductVision is our only product and thus our only focus, so you can be assured that all of our efforts are dedicated to improving the software. Our goal is that 100% of our customers will be satisfied and enthusiastic ASD references.
Advanced Software Designs supports its worldwide client base from its US headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri and through its ProductVision Ltd. European subsidiary headquartered in the United Kingdom.
